Reduce stress & anxiety tips
Anxiety & stress are emotions where you feel uneasy with worry or fear, the symptoms can range from mild to severe. Everyone will have feelings of anxiety or stress at some point in their life this could be from waiting for medical results, or waiting to sit an exam, or attend an interview, for example. These feelings are perfectly normal, and can help us to avoid dangerous situations, however, some people may struggle to control their worries and fears and these feelings of anxiety can affect your daily life. The symptoms of anxiety can range from panic attacks, phobias, PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) and social anxiety disorders. Regular thoughts of anxiety can develop into a mental health disorder and you then enter a vicious cycle of every situation becoming a potential crisis which can make you feel incapable of conducting your normal daily tasks. I think we can be too harsh on ourselves sometimes, and sometimes its ok to give yourself permission to suck at things, go easy on yourself, this can feel quite liberating. We can’t be good at everything, and we also can’t control everything in our life, or the product of past experiences. Here is a good quote: “You don’t have to control your thoughts. How can Aromatherapy help with Anxiety & Stress?
Aromatherapy is a complementary therapy and is the use of essential oils that are extracted from various parts of plants, such as petals, bark, leaves, and are selected for their therapeutic properties. Aromatherapy can be inhaled as well as absorbed into the skin. This is then dispersed through the body and can have a subtle effect on the body’s chemical and energy systems. This can help restore balance and wellbeing in the body to help with many ailments such as anxiety, and stress.

🌻Think outside the box, there are usually more than one solution – look at option A & B, and so on
🌻Ask questions and find out more information before making decisions
🌻Stay focused and don’t get side-tracked
🌻Be grateful for what you have and try not to dwell or focus on what you don’t have
🌻Don’t beat yourself up or be too harsh on yourself
🌻Don’t give up, if you don’t succeed try, try again
🌻Reward your successes
🌻Learn from your mistakes and move on
🌻See a project through to the end
🌻Try not to solve one problem to be replaced by another
🌻Surround yourself with positive people. Be with people who bring out the best in you, not the stress in you
🌻Don’t give away your power to people who will misuse it
